Counseling and medication
Alcohol use disorder is highly treatable with the right support. We combine evidence-based counseling, relapse prevention, and medication management when clinically appropriate. The medications are oral naltrexone, acamprosate, disulfiram, and monthly Vivitrol. You and your doctor decide which one to use.

Fentanyl Addiction

Fentanyl is driving today's overdose crisis with extreme potency and unpredictability. We treat fentanyl dependence with medication-assisted treatment (MAT), close clinical monitoring, and naloxone access for safety.

Opioid use disorder is a chronic, treatable medical condition. We offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with Suboxone (film or tablet), Sublocade monthly injections, or Brixadi weekly or monthly injections, combined with counseling for long-term recovery.

Prescription Pain Pills
Medication and counseling
Addiction to prescription pain pills like oxycodone, hydrocodone, or Percocet is treated with medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and counseling, including transition planning for patients leaving long-term pain management. We treat the opioid use disorder. We do not treat chronic pain or prescribe Suboxone for it, so your pain care stays with your own doctor or pain provider.

Kratom & 7-OH Addiction
Medication and counseling
Kratom and its concentrated derivative 7-hydroxymitragynine (7-OH) can cause opioid-like physical dependence. We provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT), with buprenorphine prescribed off-label, and clinical support tailored to kratom's distinct withdrawal profile.

Meth Addiction

Methamphetamine dependence responds to structured counseling and cognitive-behavioral therapy.
Cocaine Addiction

Cocaine use disorder is treated through behavioral therapy, counseling, and structured relapse prevention. Our program addresses both the psychological patterns and the life circumstances that reinforce use.
Benzodiazepine Addiction
Counseling, plus an intensive outpatient program in Chattanooga
Benzo dependence (Xanax, Klonopin, Ativan, Valium) carries serious withdrawal risks, and stopping suddenly after regular use can cause seizures. We treat it with individual counseling and a treatment plan through our program. When a patient needs a taper, we send them to a higher level of care.
Prescription Stimulant Addiction

Dependence on Adderall, Ritalin, or Vyvanse can develop even with prescribed use. We address stimulant dependence with behavioral therapy and individualized planning.
Marijuana Addiction

Cannabis use disorder is real and often underrecognized. We provide behavioral treatment and counseling for patients whose marijuana use has become disruptive to health, work, or relationships.
Tianeptine (“Gas Station Heroin”)
Medication and counseling
Tianeptine, sold as Zaza, Tianaa, and Neptune's Fix, acts on the same mu-opioid receptors as heroin, so it causes opioid-type dependence and withdrawal. We treat it with the same buprenorphine-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT) we use for opioids, kratom, and 7-OH, prescribed off-label for tianeptine.

Xylazine Addiction
Medication for opioid use, and counseling
Xylazine (“tranq”) is a non-opioid sedative increasingly contaminating the fentanyl supply. We recognize xylazine exposure and adapt medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and medical oversight to protect patients from its distinct risks.

Anxiety disorders are common alongside substance use and independently. We provide evidence-based counseling and psychiatric medication management when clinically appropriate.

Depression is common alongside substance use and independently. Untreated, it can quietly block recovery. Our team offers counseling and coordinated psychiatric medication support as part of a unified care plan.
Co-Occurring Disorders
Both treated together
Many people in recovery also live with anxiety, depression, or trauma. Our integrated approach treats both conditions together so neither blocks progress on the other.
Where
Behavioral health and psychiatric care are at our Chattanooga clinic. The first visit for that care is in person, and later visits are by telehealth. If you start at Cleveland, Soddy-Daisy or Ringgold, your medication-assisted treatment (MAT) happens there.

Opioid use disorder is a chronic medical condition, not a failure of willpower, and MAT is its first-line treatment. MAT combines FDA-approved medications with clinical counseling and follow-up. Our providers work alongside you to find the right medication, the right dose, and the right timeline.

Individual Counseling
One-on-one with licensed counselors, at all four clinics
Our individual counseling sessions give patients a private, structured space to work through the behavioral, emotional, and situational challenges that accompany addiction. Sessions are led by licensed counselors, using cognitive-behavioral and motivational approaches, and are coordinated with your medical treatment.
Confidential and protected under HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
Telehealth
Secure video follow-ups from home or any private location
We offer telehealth appointments for follow-up visits, medication check-ins, and counseling sessions, on a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. Your first visit is in person. After that you see the same clinical team, and most TennCare, Medicaid, and commercial plans cover it.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Group sessions three days a week, in Chattanooga
IOP provides a higher level of structure for patients who need more than standard outpatient care. IOP group sessions are led by licensed clinical facilitators, address co-occurring behavioral health challenges, and are coordinated with your individual treatment plan.

Hepatitis C Treatment
On-site for patients in our MAT or IOP programs
For patients already enrolled in our MAT or IOP programs, we provide on-site Hep C screening and treatment, so you can address both conditions with one care team. Modern direct-acting antivirals clear the virus in 8 to 12 weeks with cure rates above 95%. Most TennCare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans cover testing and treatment.

We treat anxiety, depression, and trauma with psychiatric medication management, evidence-based counseling, and coordinated care. This care is available alongside addiction treatment or on its own.
